I use templates to keep track of my business's sales. A template I found that is good is: Sales Reports

I need to create a sales report by customer and restricted date range (fiscal year).

I still don't understand the need for sales reports by customer over sales reports by item.... If I have 2000 customers, but 40 items I really care less about individual customer sales reports but really do care about trends in sales of my product items. COGS as part of that report would be great so I know the profitability of my items also.

I need sales history reports by 'item'.

Reporting sales by item over time periods is absolutely critical and very conspicuous in its absence! It is the first report I would have expected for sales reports!
Agree need a report for ALL items. Note though that this may also require marking inventory items as 'for resell' because not all the items I inventory belong in a sales report.

This Report would be great.. Hope this will not be the same as TOP ITEMS REPORT which ranks the item ((etiher by quantiy or by amount)) from best sales to least sales.
Our company is a manufacturing company so we wanted to view all items even those without sales so we could analyze each sku's further. Another things is our inventory list / receiving vouchers / invoices / reports are sorted by stock number rather than alphabetical. Hope there is an option to view them sorted by stock number too.

Would like daily and weeky sales/income report. Bar or line graph would be nice.
